New Charges for Wiltshire Council Garden Bins
Posted: April 2nd, 2015 | Category: News |

From 15 June 2015, Wiltshire Council will be introducing a charge of £40 per year for the fortnightly collection of garden waste. This is an optional service, you would only pay if you would like to receive a fortnightly collection of garden waste.

Although, residents can sign up for the new collections at any time, Wiltshire Council is encouraging people to sign up by 17 May to make sure your garden waste bin is emptied from 15 June onwards. The new collections will start from 15 June 2015 – free collections will continue until then.

After you’ve signed up, you will be sent a garden waste sticker to place on your bin to help us identify which households have paid. Your garden waste collection day may change. Stickers and new collection dates will be sent out at the beginning of June to everyone who has paid for the service by 17 May.

Please follow this link to the Wiltshire Council website for further information and to sign up and pay for the service.
