Welcome to Royal Wootton Bassett

Royal Wootton Bassett is located just two miles from junction 16 of the M4, making it an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and discover its many visitor attractions.

The combination of the old and the new, the historic architectural gems, modern shopping centres and nearness to some of the country's greatest houses and historic villages, makes this town midway between Bath and Swindon an ideal location for living, working and visiting.

Thames Water Update
Posted: April 29th, 2015 | Category: News |

Updates from Thames Water

SN4, SN5, SN15.
No Water / Low Pressure.
Message last updated: Wednesday 29 April 2015 – 8.27AM.
Our work to re-route water around our network means water pressures are gradually returning to the majority of the area.
Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the repair we still have some customers who will remain without supply until we can repair the broken pipe.
We’re really sorry to all those who have been affected, our team are working around the clock to get things back to normal.
Bottled water continues to be available around 9am at the following locations:
Lyneham Express
A3102 Lyneham (Opposite Teal Avenue )
SN15 4PS

Borough Fields Car Park
Wootton Bassett
SN4 7AX

Demand for bottled water is high so we apologise if you have a short wait at any of the collections points. We will continue to replenish stock as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience.
