A team of volunteers have formed the Diamond Jubilee Committee, with the aim of bringing the community of Royal Wootton Bassett together for a Giant High Street Party. This will take place on the afternoon and evening of Bank Holiday Monday, 4th June 2012. The committee would like to have community groups and organisations providing free entertainment and workshops at this event. If you are part of a group that would like to play a part in in this historic community event please contact the committee via Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council.

| As part of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay Route, torchbearers will carry the Olympic Flame through Wootton Bassett on 23rd May 2012.
