Hike for Heroes 'Crown Copyright/MOD 2011’ Personnel from Number 1 Air Mobility Wing (1 AMW) based at RAF Lyneham recently took part in a march in a race to get to RAF Brize Norton before their equivalent counterparts from the Air Movements Squadron (AMS) based at RAF Brize Norton could get to RAF Lyneham. The challenge referred to as ‘Hike for Heroes’ was set to raise funds for their chosen charities; Help For Heroes, the RAF Benevolent Fund and Helen & Douglas House.
