What can you do at your local Council Office?
You can register a birth, death and give notice of marriage.
The Registrar visits the office Thursday mornings. The service is by appointment only. To book please telephone Tel: 01225 713012
You can report highway problems such as: potholes, street lights not working, blocked road drains, overgrown hedges, verges etc. These will be passed to Wiltshire Council Highways Department, alternatively telephone: CLARENCE 0800 23 23 23, the call is free. clarence@wiltshire.gov.uk
You can pick up an application Form for a Bus Pass , provided you are aged 60+ or registered disabled. The scheme is run by Wiltshire Council – to contact them direct please telephone the Helpline 0845 6010487 (local call rate). We also keep up to date bus timetables, telephone 08457 090899 for Bus and Train Enquiries.
You can arrange Annual Grave Maintenance, we have various programmes of maintenance available ranging from “Place a holly wreath or cross on grave 12 days before Christmas and remove 12 days after Christmas” to a full maintenance programme of “Planting, weeding, fertilising, cleaning of memorial twice yearly, reporting of any damage and placing of a holly wreath”.
